HIking in Nepal
Nepal is a wonderland, with its surrounding beautiful hills and snow-capped mountains. Hiking in Nepal is another way to experience the nature and culture of Nepal. It provides you with spectacular views of the mountains and the deep valleys where the different races and groups of people present their unique culture and traditional life styles at close range.

KakaniKakani
Kakani is a popular hiking destination in Nepal. It is located 29km north-west of Kathmandu valley at an altitude of 1982m, surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains such as Annapurna {8091m}, Manasalu (8165m/ 26,781ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m/ 24,422ft), Lantang lirung (7245m/ 23,763ft) Gaurishanker (7134 in), Himal Chuli (7893 in), plus 20 other mountains over 6000 meters forming the rim of Himalayan band. A trip to Kakani along the scenic Trishuli Road is rewarding with its green forest and grand mountains in one direction, and river flats and terraces on the other.

Nagarkot:-
Nagarkot is situated east of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of about 1800 meters, is considered the best hiking location to the view the sunrise and sunset over the giant band of the Himalayas. They include: Annapurna (8091m/ 26,545ft), Manasalu (8165m), Ganesh Himal (7446m) and Lantang lirung (7245m, Dhaulagiri {8167m}, Kanchenjunga (8,463m), and several other numerous snow-capped mountains can be seen from here. The surrounding hills of Nagarkot provide one with many opportunities to enjoy the beauty.

PhulchokiPhulchoki
Phulchoki is one of the most well known peaks at 2830m high. It looks over the valley of Kathmandu. This mountain, as it’s name suggests (Phul means flower in Nepali) is a natural garden of wild roses, yellow jasmine, iris and other native flowers. The summit is a rich grove of rhododendrons of various hues. A jeep ride leads one to the top of the hill where there is a Buddhist shrine. A fit hiker has a good chance of scaling the peak in a little more than three hours. The place has all the makings of a peaceful resort area.

Nagarjun:-
It is about 10km/6.2 miles from Kathmandu city. There is a Buddhist shrine at the top, which is very holy for both Buddhist and Hindus. To reach the top one has to hike up for about 15 to 20 minutes. From this point, a panoramic view of the Himalaya ranges can be seen.

Dhulikhel:-
Dhulikheli is situated in the central part of Nepal. This is just 32 km from the Kathmandu valley. The main attractions of Dhulikheli are its grand and panoramic mountain views, numerous temples, and the varied landscape and the diversity of people. This ancient town is situated 30 km east of Kathmandu. It is a popular Himalayan viewpoint. From here you have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east, to Himal Chuli in the west. The old part of this town is an interesting area to wander around with some fine old Nepalese buildings and several interesting temples. You can also take a day trip to the Tibet border or Tatopani, a place that is famous for its hot sulphur spring

Sarangkot:-
Sarangkot is situated in the western part of Nepal at an elevation of about 1700 meters (5,576ft), it is a very popular location for its wonderful mountain scenery. Here you can see panoramic views of Annapurna (8091m/ 26,545ft), Manasalu (8165m/ 26,781ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m/ 24,422ft), Dhaulagiri (8167m/ 26,795ft), Machapuchare (the sacred mountain) and 25 other mountains over 6000 meters (19,680ft) high. This area also offers you views of the Pokhara Valley with all its natural beauty. Sarangkot is another spot renowned for seeing the sunrise over the Himalayas. This is a one-day trip from Pokhara.

damanDaman
it is situated 80 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu at an altitude of about 2320m meters. It is located mid way between Kathmandu and Hetauda. Daman is known for its vantage location in viewing the snow peak such as Mt.Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorjelakpa, Gaurishanker, Cho Oyu, Choba Bhamre and Gaurishanker, etc. there is a view tower from where one can have a panoramic view of 300miles of the Himalaya range.
